All shooting sticks have the option of using a rubber foot for hard surfaces or indoor use, traditional shooting sticks using a rubber ferrule over the point, which is not suitable for sitting on on hard ground but prevents the stick from slipping when using as a walking stick, and the modern, lightweight shooting sticks using a replacement bottom section of the shooting stick with a rubber foot instead of the point & plate foot.
